A few days ago, we learned from the official that the 2025 Tengshi D9 will be officially launched on December 26th. The new car will be equipped with BYD’s latest fifth-generation DM technology and optional laser radar.
Judging from the exposure declaration map, the new car as a whole follows the design style of the current model, and the front face diamond-cut grille with sharp headlights has a high overall recognition. The logo of "BYD DM-i AWD" has been added to the rear of the car, highlighting the upgrade of its power system. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5250*1960*1900mm and the wheelbase is 3110 mm. It is worth mentioning that the new car can also be equipped with laser radar, which can greatly improve the perception and safety of the vehicle.
In terms of interior, the new car also continues the layout of the current model. The D-shaped steering wheel, small-size LCD instrument and large-size central control panel are all retained, but the design of the hood is changed. It is expected that the central control island area will also change.
In the power part, the new car will adopt BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and a motor, and the maximum power of the engine is 115kW. In terms of batteries, the new car will be equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 39.938kWh. The pure electric cruising range is divided into 145km and 155km, and the corresponding fuel consumption is 7.15L/100km and 6.65L/100km respectively, which has excellent energy efficiency performance.
